We’re excited to bring Bitcoin to the EVM! This guide will demonstrate how to stake tBTC on Bitcoin Testnet4 and receive atBTC on the Ethereum Sepolia testnet. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask in our community.
Step 1: Download and Install EVM compatible wallet
Please feel free to use your existing EVM wallet / set up a new wallet with or .
Follow the on-screen instructions to set up your wallet.
Step 2: Obtain tbTC from a Faucet
Navigate to one of the following faucets to claim testnet Bitcoin (tbTC):

(Select 500k sats option)
Enter your UniSat wallet’s Bitcoin Testnet4 address and follow the faucet’s instructions to receive tbTC.
Step 3: Go to the Atlas Protocol Testnet Application
Step 4: Connect your UniSat wallet
On the Atlas Protocol Testnet app, click either the “Connect to BTC testnet4 network” or the “Connect Wallet” button.
In the pop-up window that appears, click “Connect to BTC testnet4 network”.
A prompt will appear from your UniSat wallet. Click “Connect” to authorize the connection
Step 5: Initiate Staking
Select "Stake" on the left-hand panel to enter the Staking dashboard.
Amount: enter the amount of tbTC you wish to stake
The minimum amount is 0.0002 tbTC.
Important, please make sure your wallet holds enough extra tBTC to cover gas fees, otherwise, you’ll encounter errors (example: if your wallet holds 0.0003 tBTC, you should only enter 0.0002 to leave enough room for gas fees).
Select Receiving Chain: Sepolia
Enter Receiving Address: Insert your EVM address address here (0x…)
Once you’re ready, select “Review”
In the pop-up window, click “Stake”
Sign the transaction in your UniSat wallet pop-up.
Step 6: Verify your atBTC on Ethereum Sepolia
Once you see the success message, the transaction may take some time to process.
Important: Transactions can take 1–2 hours to confirm due to Bitcoin Testnet4 block times. You can check the ETA by clicking the “View on Block Explorer” link in the success pop-up window.
Step 7: Confirm your atBTC
✅ Confirmation: You will see “atBTC Minted” under Staking History in the dashboard.
